Choosing the booth shape is the first decision in any commercial seating project. These are the three shapes we build most at TCL and their most-requested measurements.
Straight booth
The workhorse of every restaurant. Our most requested size: 4 feet long and 42 inches tall. Line them up against a wall or back-to-back down the middle of the dining room. It is also the shape behind our Essential line — the fastest turnaround we offer.
Corner booth
Turns dead corners into revenue: 4 feet per side forming the L, same 42-inch height. Perfect for squeezing seats where a free-standing table would waste space.
Curved booth (half-moon or U)
The group favorite and the premium look: the equivalent of two corners joined (about 16 running feet) wrapping a round table. It is the piece that draws every eye in the room.
What back height should you pick?
- 36-38″: open feel — you can see the whole room.
- 42″: the standard — seated privacy without closing the space in.
- 48″+: full cabin-style privacy, great for sports bars and night clubs.
See all three shapes with their measurements on our Work page and when you have your space measured, we will quote it to the exact size — fully custom dimensions available too.
